MR Shox has developed revolutionary technology for mountain bike suspensions, which detects changes in terrain conditions to optimise suspension performance automatically. FlyingStart assisted David with several grant applications, which were successful, including: £70,000 in proof of concept funds from the University of Sheffield's own fund and Yorkshire Concept Fund and £40,000 from the 2009 Royal Academy of Engineering ERA Award.
